Online instruction? I wonder whether I could pull it off!!

It was all new to me, and it still is... this online learning platform... I'm concerned about my ability to balance chores and learning. Fortunately, my daughter, husband, and maid have been very supportive. Since all of my work is done digitally, I was unable to complete many tasks as classes got underway. However, I was able to assist my daughter with some of her schoolwork using digital platforms, and since my daughter regularly requires my assistance with digital tools and platforms, I was ok. But when I first started the course, I was also having trouble with minor digital usage. I'm not sure why I was feeling this way, but at one point, I wanted to stop, thinking that perhaps I wasn't meant to be suitable for teaching. I am grateful to my Moreland instructor and program advisor, who is always willing to assist me. I'm still taking the course because it's so adaptive. Why did I choose Teaching career?

I never have had experience in any kind of job yet, not even a job related to my Electronics & Communications Engineering.  I was totally into my married life and enjoying motherhood. When my daughter eventually started school in an American/IB level program, I became curious about the US education system since it was different from what I experienced during my own schooling years. After being inspired by a friend from Senegal who had successfully completed a course related to the US education system, I decided it was time for me to take action and pursue this opportunity that would provide financial stability while also enabling me to effectively guide my daughter through her educational journey as we continue our transient lifestyle. And, my husband is supportive... he encouraged me to start my online course to start my career.. and, here I am..

About me..

In 2012, I completed my engineering degree in electronics and communications from an institution in India. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to pursue a career immediately after graduation due to my marriage and relocation to Africa with my family in 2013. Subsequently, the birth of our daughter further occupied my attention such that I could not focus on developing my career.
